Big and Green...
On a rather bizarre and wacky detour off the Interstate 90 we ended up in the small town of Blue Earth, named after the Blue Earth River the main attraction is actually anything but blue...It's 55ft. tall and Green.
Home to the Green Giant company, Blue Earth decided to build a commemorative statue to the jolly giant in 1978. He stands tall and proud in the Green Giant Statue Park and is worth the tiny detour off the I-90. It's good fun to see plus there are some very interesting facts dotted about on the info boards - he wears size 78 shoes!!! Great photo opportunity.
