Stone fort with an amphitheater

It is a stone fort with an amphitheater, near the top of Mount Grianán, which is roughly 18 km south of Buncrana. The sand may resemble something similar to a Roman circus. It is possible that the fortress has been here for at least 2000 years, but it is believed that the site itself dates back to pre-Celtic times, when it was a temple of the god Dagda.
