Hermitage of San Cayetano

Hermitage of San Cayetano

Puebla de Sanabria is a town that's not too big, it's actually quite the contrary, but it still has a lot of monuments and buildings that have incalculable value and beauty. Besides the castle and the church, there's also the Hermitage of San Cayetano. This is a chapel that's next to the church, in the center of the village, which was built in the 18th century in honor of the founding patron, Lucas Garcia Ossorio. The highlight of this chapel is definitely the front, which makes it competition for the church, especially because it's right next door. The chapel has a very ornate facade that stands out because of the beautiful red ocher.
