    Special Charm

    This hotel is one of the oldest buildings in the city of Anchorage. It was established in 1916 and was one of the first places where people could gather in Anchorage. It was also the first place in Anchorage where you could eat at a restaurant with fine china. The hotel is small but has a special charm. Speaking of charm, it's believed that the hotel is haunted. The first Anchorage police chief died there in 1921 and they say that his ghost still hangs around. I love this hotel because it's such a big part of our city's history.
