Preserving early film heritage

The Hollywood Heritage Museum (Los Angeles) is known as "the barn", and shows the characteristics of the films of Cecil B. DeMille, including the famous Ben Hur. The main exhibition hall contains artifacts from the early days of film, old cameras ( including one belonging to Charlie Chaplin ), tripods, projectors, assembly tables, costumes, makeup, equipment and accessories. A corner of the barn contains a replica of the office of Cecil B. DeMille, with his old original desk, telephone and typewriter.
