Holy Resurrection Church

This small church was established in 1794 but was not appointed as a cathedral until 2001. The church is one of several Russian Orthodox churches on Kodiak Island and is beautiful inside and out. Inside the church there are no seats and during mass one has to stand all the time and Russian Orthodox priests give most of the mass in Russian.
