The Hospital in the Rock was, is, and will always be one of my favorite museums. It's not the most famous nor the most popular in Budapest, but it is one of the most interesting. Memories are not only visual, but also olfactory...and the Hospital in the Rock still retains the smell of old. The hospital was a secret nuclear bunker and no one knew it existed. When you visit, it's like stepping back in time. The bunker itself is already claustrophobic, but it gets really heavy when you see the hospital beds, old surgical utensils, and gas masks.
