Good service, but a charmless place
The Aliza Hotel, on Jean Guiton Avenue in La Rochelle, isn't too far to walk to the city centre. It's a rather charmless hotel, but on the other hand, the service is good, very warm. They also have a restaurant (a brasserie), where prices aren't too high. You can enjoy sandwiches, salads, or have a drink. A cheap option, as you'd expect from a small hotel outside the city centre.
