Casa del Cordón

The Palace of the Constables of Castile (those ve ordered the construction) is best known as the Casa del Cordón, and is opposite the famous BBQ Casa Ojeda. Today, it houses the Caja de Burgos, and in the rear houses a cultural center where there are temporary exhibitions. It is a beautiful old palace flanked by two towers, Renaissance style, built in the late fifteenth century. The thing that most catches your attention is that there are some interesting balconies that come out from the first floor and they are closed with wooden windows. It houses a beautiful cloister.
