A pleasant experience
Spices played an important part in the history of Zanzibar, and are still an attraction of the city today. The House of Spices, set in an 18th century building, was our choice for lunch on our first day. We had a steak in balsamic sauce, with mango and orange, and kingfish with spicy sauce. Great.
