1 review of House Two Morgados

Typical bracarense architecture

Casa dos Morgados is one of the most representative secular buildings of the typical architecture of Bragança. It's 3-storey and was built in the eighteenth century by the Sa Vargas family, bourgeoisie of the time. Most notable are the granite recercados framing the bays and the multiple paneled windows, that on the middle floor become balconies. On each side of the facade are the shields of arms of the Morais and Sarmentos respectively.
