Igreja Matriz de Sendim

Although there are other small shrines in the area, the Mother Church is the largest religious building in Sendim, and is in what could be termed as the Plaza Mayor, it is situated in the heart of the village. Its facade is quite monumental, built in concrete with an outstanding belfry. It belonged to the Order of the Knights of Malta and was built in medieval times, although it has undergone several renovations up to present times.
