Botanical Garden
The Botanical Garden was created in the 19th century by Don Pedro II. There are over 40,000 plants and it is considered one of the largest collections of plants in the world. In addition, it is home to monuments of historical, artistic and architectural value. It has several interesting areas to explore such as the orchid, bromelario, carnivorous plants, jungle area or Atlantic Forest and infrastructures with lakes, gardens and water passages. It is a fantastic place to go if you want to get away from the city, where there is peace, tranquility, and you find yourself surrounded by nature.
