Beautiful town
Castelo de Vide is a beautiful medieval town which is located in the district of Portalegre Alentejo. The Jewish quarter is very close to the Plaza de Pedro V. There are several streets with steep uphill slopes that lead to this beautiful corner of the city. Here, you'll find many decorations on the doors that remind us that its many Jewish inhabitants have lived here through the centuries.
