Sculpted by Raul Xavier in 2003
This monument is in Plaza de San Pablo, just opposite São Paulo Church and the Historical Museum Nossa Senhora da Torre. It consists of a bronze sculpture on a granite pedestal, representing João Peculiar, Archbishop of Braga and director of the first king of Portugal. It was sculpted by Raul Xavier in 2003.
