A large, colorful statue
Located on the terraces of the redeveloped area of Thomas Steers Way, near the Albert Docks, the monument dedicated to "Peace on Earth and Life Conservation" is a large, colorful statue erected to the memory of the famous musician, John Lennon. Opened in 2010, this statue is part of a series installed across the different continents as part of a global initiative to promote peace and harmony on earth through monuments.
