Bronze Sculpture of Juliet

Juliet in Munich

During my walk through the city, I discovered a statue of a very beautiful girl in front of the Old Town Hall in Munich. I noticed that the girl wore a fresh flowers, probably a gift from some stranger. Reading the inscription on the plate next to it, I realised that it was Juliet (of Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare) and it was a gift from Verona, the city with which Munic is twinned.
