Kangaroo Island Penguin Centre

Another species that lives and thrives in Kangaroo Island is the Blue Penguins or Fairy Penguins, as they are commonly called in Australia. The name comes from its small size. The breeding area of ​​the penguins is in the village of Kingscote, a protected area which can only be accessed with an organized tour. Visits are at night, when the penguins have almost all their activity. It is possible to see them often cross the road at night. Watch them if you drive around the island, because I assure you that the penguins cross the road without looking both ways.
