Japonese food at a good price

It is a Japanese restaurant located in the Grace neighborhood where you can find good food, fast service, and most importantly, good prices (keeping in mind that Japanese food is not especially cheap).

It is usually quite full, although you always find some free spots, even if you have to share the large tables with other people, the truth is it is very nice. It is not quiet since the place is quite small with a good amount of tables. Another small drawback is that you cannot reserve a table beforehand. There is a great variety of Japanese food and good sushi.

I won't say more, you'll have to try

Kibuka in Verdi street is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. There are few tables for a small groups since they won't let people book for groups of more than five people and there are two dinner shifts, one at 9 and the second one at 10.

Apart from the Japanese food we are used to they innovate with other ingredients, making different Sushi and Nigiri. In this line I personally recommend the Nigiri Foie. It is a small tapa with two Nigiri. I won't explain more because you have to taste it yourself. Also, even though it is commonplace, I recommend the Coulant or Fondant de chocolate. It is huge and delicious!

Tasty, pretty, and cheap

Excellent

This is an unusual Japanese restaurant and there’s almost always a wait, but it’s worth it.

The sushi is original, very tasty, and goes for a good price. Five plates, beer for two, and water, all for less than 50 euros.

Don’t miss the Philadelphia roll and the Paulista. The tempura isn’t enough to share, so make sure to take that into consideration when you’re ordering.

My first Japanese

Excellent

I had great luck to discover Japanese food in this restaurant on Verdi street, and the truth is that since that day I find a way to enjoy their Makis (all incredible) and their vegetable tempura whenever I can. I confidently recommended it to everyone who asked me about a good Japanese restaurant. Excellent and very fast service. The price is related to the quality, you do not regret paying for the dinner because you end up very satisfied. I earnestly recommend it.

One of the best!

Excellent

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Barcelona. You have to try the Hot Philadelphia roll and the Miso Soup.

If you’re a fan of Japanese food like I am and you still haven’t visited, you need to visit!

My favorite menu

This restaurant in the heart of Gracia is one of the few I never doubt paying a parking for, in order to have the lunch meal. The makis are excellent as well as the dish of the day and the sushi.

I recommend going at 1:30 pm (early for Spanish standards) since it is when the kitchen opens and it is full a few minutes later. I give it an 8 out of 10.
