La Rotonda Foschini is an integral part of the Teatro Comunale of Ferrara, built in the second half of the 1700s. In one of the two underpasses, you will find the ticket office and the staircase leading to the foyer of the theatre. It has a charming elliptical frame, which offers an unusual perspective if you look up. It was built by the architect Antonio Foschini, who worked on the project together with Cosimo Morelli. Absolutely enchanting, particularly with the recent restoration.
