This restaurant in the heart of the Port of Veracruz is a five minute walk from the pier and the main square. It's an excellent choice if you want to try regional cuisine. They specialize in seafood, but also serve meat and poultry. It's run by the owners. Usually the place is packed, but it's worth the wait. Try the devilled shrimp with an Indian side! It's really delicious, a mandatory stop, and their prices are very good. Also, don't miss the sweets vendor for dessert, and the music performed by revellers or trios who will play whatever you want for a few coins.
