La Tape is a stalwart in Madrid's growing craft beer scene. They have a rotating selection of local and international beers on tap, and skew towards trendier artisanal micro-brews rather than the soggy German beers on tap at a lot of Spanish "beer joints." The food ain't bad either. Thirsty? La Tape is your place!
The streets in and around metro Bilbao are the epicentre of good beer in Madrid. As well as a bevy of international beer bars and Irish pubs, there’s craft beer bar ANIMAL, the much-loved bottle store Cervezorama (which spearheaded the city’s craft beer movement) and now La Tape, a recently-opened craft beer temple that’s part-bar, part-restaurant, and part take-away joint. Impressively, it opens everyday from 9am to the wee hours and, while normally I mistrust anything that’s trying to be all things to all people, I have a good feeling about this place.
