Trout
Although all of the restaurants in Salento have the famous trout specialty, this is one of the cheapest options. For only 3 €, we had an opened and cleaned trout which was presented to us on a giant patacón that measured over 25 cm long. The trout can be prepared several ways and they´re all delicious: Golden, with garlic, with mushrooms, as a patty, or with cheese.
