Impressionist Collection at the MET

1 review of Impressionist Collection at the MET

Journey into Impressionism

Excellent

Visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York could take weeks. The place is so rich and vast that it is impossible to see it all. In my opinion, the best way to enjoy it is to focus on one movement or period and appreciate the richness of the collection. We chose to focus on the Impressionist collections and we were not at all disappointed! The museum is home to the world famous paintings such as Self-Portrait in a Straw Hat by Van Gogh, dozens of Monet works, etc. In short, if you love impressionist paintings, you will love this!
