Lindisfarne Bay and Harbour

Lindisfarne Bay, at the mercy of the elements, is most visible from the outside of the island. Views that are famous include the Bamburgh Castle and vice versa, since both places comprise of the most important elements of the bay. In the bay at one end of town, is what locals call the harbor, the most traditional and based on small shipyards and buildings that house tools for the sailors and fishermen. A perfect place for a stroll (it is also is on the way to the castle and other areas) to see a sunset and days to appreciate the daily activities.
