Blue and Turquoise Water

The Llanganuco Lagoon is indescribably beautiful. It actually consists of two lakes located in a narrow glacial valley. The name of one of the lagoons is Warmicocha (Female Lagoon) and on its banks are broad-leaved trees called queñual. The name of the other lagoon, which is smaller, is Orkoconcha (Male Lagoon). The site is wonderful, very rugged and is located 3850 meters above sea level.

Wonderful snow

Well it was great. We went in 2007 for our promotional trip. It's a very beautiful place with incredible landscapes, varied climate, and seeing the snow was wonderful. I recommend you visit the beautiful city of Huaraz, in the region of Ancash. You won't regret it. You can see the snowy pastoruri, Yungay, and Chavin de Huantar.
