A neglected and ignored castle

On an island the size of Arran everything should be promoted to attract the attention of visitors. This didn't happen with Lochranza Castle, which despite its good state of preservation (though reduced), it sleeps in the shade of Brodick Castle (which is closed most of the year, from October to April). Built in the 14th century it was famous for is the refuge of the kings of Scotland during the High Middle Ages ... it's strange that the advertisements we have seen mention it as a feature of the picturesque landscape (which is entirely true) ... but it could give more and they could get a lot more out of it...
