Los Angeles City Hall Observation Deck

1 review of Los Angeles City Hall Observation Deck

Stunning view of Los Angeles from City Hall

In search of a panoramic view of Los Angeles? Look no further than the observation deck on the 27th floor of Los Angeles City Hall! The deck is probably one of the city’s best kept secrets, as it’s not widely known that such a place exists. It’s kind of like LA’s version of the Empire State Building, except it’s hardly ever crowded and it costs nothing to get up there. Upon entering City Hall, you’ll go through airport-like security check, then obtain a visitor’s badge. Then you’ll take two separate elevators before finally getting to the top. (You can actually get off on the 26th floor and walk up a flight of stairs to get to the 27th.) From there, you can walk around four sides of the deck and appreciate the smog-covered City of Angels! There are also informational boards that indicate what the buildings are.
