Max's Deli of Highland Park

Upon arriving into this side strip mall you would not imagine what you are coming into. I was in New York last July and visited a true Kosher Delicatessen. Coming into the door at Max's felt as if I were suddenly transported back to New York!

When coming into the restaurant you first see the deli with the meats and cheeses and bagels all over. Then being led through the hustle and noises through the lively restaurant to our table, we were immediately given different sliced pickles...just like New York! There is a culture that goes along with kosher restaurants like this one. It almost feels like a movie because it is so stereotypical.
