Beautiful gardens
En route to Riga we stopped to eat in this palace. It housed the Empress Catherine II, and a few years ago was renovated to accommodate pedestrians. The surroundings are in keeping with the grand building, with large green spaces bordered by a river. You can really lose yourself in these glorious gardens.
