Citadel with a great viewpoint over 700 meters high
The historical or Bragança Citadel is on the top of a hill over 700 meters high, so it has a great viewpoint. From here, the views of the "new" city are amazing, as are those of all the surrounding areas, the region of Tras-Os-Montes and foothills of Montesinhos Natural Park which is under the town, with the river at our feet. A particularly interesting place is what is in front of the Domus Municipalis and the door of the Church of St. Mary, because there is Café da Vila,a place to have a rest and enjoy the views.
