A French town that takes you back in time
Sifting through hundreds of pictures of our trips, I found a 2005 Futoroscope from out stay during Easter. Among them, some were of a village that still evokes the Middle Ages. A magical place to stroll through its streets and squares that brings you back in time, a place where writers and artists enjoy refuge. Montmorillon Gartempe, along the river, is one of the jewels of the French region of Vienne. Its lovely church of Notre-Dame, the houses on the river, its former hospital and the bridge are popular for visitors to see, they describe is another story. Visiting it is very, very, very recommendable
