Monument to Julio Camba

The monument to Julio Camba, the great journalist, traveling man and lover of good food, is located in a small garden overlooking the bay of O Esteiro. It is made of bronze on a granite block and represents Camba sitting with a suitcase and a newspaper. Currently, the Camba brothers' house in the neighborhood of Vilamaior, houses the city library. Therefore, we can say that this locality of Pontevedra is home to two great writers, the first great Valle Inclan and Julio Camba, whose monument was inaugurated in August 2008 and attended by various figures from cultural and political life.
