Monument to Peace

After visiting the town of Algarrobo, we headed to the next town in the Axarquia on a road almost completely bordered by almond blossoms. Before reaching Sayalonga, one of the villages of the Route of Sun and Wine, we stumbled upon this interesting monument to peace, Placi de Gaona. The monument itself is original and surprising .. at least to me but I have posted the pictures here so you can judge for yourself.
