Umberto Masetti (May 1926 - May 2006) was an Italian motorbike driver, twice world champion in 500cc in 1950 and 1952. He competed in several races here in Denia. The statue is a work by the Cuello forge -Federico and Jaime Cuello - donated by Classic Motor Club Denia.
