Moros y Cristianos

Every June (during the weekend closest to the 10th), the Fiesta de Moros and Christians is celebrated in Mojacar. Everyone in the village is associated with groups called Kabila and parade around town with colorful costumes inspired by the Arabs, Christians or Goya, the groups commemorate the peaceful, negotiated surrender of the Villas de la Comarca a los Reyes Católicos in the late fifteenth century.

Holidays, both on Descargador beach and in the steep village of Mojacar. Dressage horses, a medieval tournament and a grand parade with gowns, spectacular costumes and female beauty.
