Municipal Archives

Across from the Museum of Ethnography and History, the Municipal Archives of Póvoa de Varzim is in a building from the late eighteenth century known as Casa dos Limas. It keeps all the city's documentary heritage from the seventeenth century to the present, available for free or through guided tours. There's also a reading room and information, computers with internet access and a small shop that sells some publications.
