Interesting commemoration to Ghandi

This museum was created to commemorate Gandhi's contribution to India, it was the summer palace of Mangammal Rani (Queen Regent between the years 1689 and 1704) and was inaugurated by Shri Jawaharlal Nehru on April 15, 1959. It has many objects belonging to Gandhi, including dhoti , what he was wearing the day of his assassination. It was in this city, in the year 1921 when Gandhi first wore this type of clothing. There are plenty of photographs of his life, drawings and manuscripts. They hold seminars, summer camps and the school exams on the life and thought of Gandhi. Admission is free and open from 10 am-13: 00 pm and 2:00 p.m.
