A committed painter

Diego Rivera was a committed painter and husband of Frida Kahlo, as you can see in the movie Frida (with Salma Hayek). Diego supported the Mexican Revolution and painted murals on the walls of government buildings to honor the revolution. The museum's in the capital, in the Ministry of Education in Coyoacan neighborhood, where he lived with Frida, and the pictures are inspired by Italian Renaissance frescoes, with people armed against the military government. Because of his communist ideas was a great friend of Russia. His relationship with Frida, ve was 20 years younger, was very passionate (they married twice).
