The Museum of Anciento Jewish Art and History has a section that is dedicated to contemporary artwork, such as illustration by Topor, Recalcati, Mondino, Luzzati, Palladino and many others. It was opened in 1969, and was once the heart of the ghetto. The museum occupies the tribune of the synagogue, built in 1595 and renovated in the nineteenth century. The trail winds through the vessels of silver in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, cups, lamps, horns, medallions, panels and sculptures.
