Kennedy Space Center

In Cape Canaveral, about an hour's drive east of Orlando, is where the Kennedy Space Center is. This is a great museum that's next to the NASA launch site and is mostly outdoors. Here you can pass through the American history of the space race. We see (and can sometimes touch) the rockets, motors, cápulas and spacesuits. You enter into a full-scale reproduction of the space shuttle and rocket immense walk along the Rocket Garden. I enjoyed as a child of the visit, and I recommend it to everyone, young and old.

A Lot of History, but Badly Cared For

Good

I was there in March 2011 and left with mixed feelings. The park is poorly maintained and very outdated for all the potential it has with being with NASA. For me the highlight was the bus tour, the pavillion of the Apollo V (that I loved) and I especially liked the viewpoint from the launch pads. If you like photography and have a good objective you can take spectacular photos (plus I was lucky that they were preparing one of the last space shuttle launches). In summary the main attraction for me was realising the historical value (which is not bad) and forgetting about the theme park, which really is quite bad.
