National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum

1 review of National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum

Not Just Baseball

Having just celebrated its 75th anniversary, The Baseball Hall of Fame is one of the most impressive specialized museums I have ever been to. Located in the small and picturesque town of Cooperstown, the Hall of Fame attracts nearly a million visitors to the área every year. It may seem like a long way to go to visit just one museum, but once you step inside you understand you've arrived someplace unique.

The museum has expanded over the years and now has four floors and more than one wing. It has a small theater that shows a very entertaining film, a gallery with plaques dedicated to every player that has been inducted, and numerous exhibits, some of which change periodically. While it would be hopeless to try and describe all the famous baseball memorabilia that the museum has, seeing the equipment used by the great players of a century ago is certainly fascinating.
