National Museum of Funeral History

The National Museum of Funeral History (Houston) has a full scale replica of the crypt of Pope John Paul II, an exact reproduction of the box used in the funerals of the three previous popes and replicas of other papal vestments made by the tailor who made clothes for the last 7 popes. Visitors will also see authentic uniforms worn by members of the Swiss Guard (responsible for the Pope's personal safety and protection of the Vatican). There are also pictures of the funerals of the different pontiffs, also provided by the Vatican.
