1 review of National Museum of Greenland

One of the oldest mummies in the world

Excellent

It is a small museum located in a wooden house painted red next to the main port(Wood dock). You enter into a small shop and to the right museum begins. It's about the lives the Eskimos led before they were colonized by the Danes. You can see mummies of Eskimos (considered one of the oldest mummies and in a better state than most), objects from the Eskimos (first anoraks, Kayaks) as these items were invented by them. Admission to the museum costs about four Euros for adults, children free and it is open any day of the year.
