The natural history specimens have their roots in the 1930s from the original Ira Thompson Collection. There are also newer acquisitions. There are sea fossils, the land forms recovered from the sea life and everything in between. The History Collection offers tangible proof of our social development. It includes items such as construction tools and equipment, guns, writing instruments, furniture and hats.
