A wonderful place
Beginning just behind the charming visitor center at the Navajo National Monument, the Sandal Trail is a marked hiking trail that we absolutely recommend you to try during your visit to the park. It's a short walk, only about 30 minutes, that offers the most beautiful views of the park, with stunning views of the Betatakin Village with its Anasazi Indian ruins. The walk is easy and the landscapes are stunning, especially under Arizona's blanket of winter snow!
