A beautiful view
In tribute to Admiral Nelson, considered one of the greatest figures in the history of the United Kingdom, a monument was erected on Calton Hill in 1807. There's a museum on the ground floor about the life of Nelson, but the real highlight is the view that you can see if you climb the 143 steps to the top of the tower. This is one of the most beautiful views in Edinburgh.
