A popular day trip for locals
Olárizu is one of the mountains that surrounds Vitoria where you can see the entire city. It's located to the south of the city and coming here is a popular day trip for the locals as the climb isn't too difficult (the southern side of the slope is particularly easy). On the second Monday of September, a procession is held in honor of Our Lady of Olarizu, patron saint of Alava.
