Outside the Palace of la Granja de San Ildefonso

That summer morning, we decided to make a short trip from Cercedilla to Granja de San Ildefonso, not just to see the impressive fountains which of course we saw too, but to focus a bit on the construction of the Palace and take some pictures outside since of course, inside, photos are not permitted. The kings must have had a great time here!. This palace was built by Felipe V in 1721 and by Theodore Ardemans in the place known as the farm of the monks Jeronimos Monastery of El Parral in Segovia. The monarch said, withdrew the same in 1724 and not being subject entirely to the work, for the next 25 years it continued to expand.
