Padua Botanical Garden (Orto Botanico)

They say that these gardens were founded in 1545 and are the oldest in Europe. They are near the Basilica of San Antonio and it's a delight to walk around here and also see the palm Goethe used for inspiration in his considerations of the metamorphosis of plants.
